Kadokawa has recently revealed the exciting news for fans of the manga "Nujima's Mysterious Disappearances" (Kaii to Otome to Kamikakushi) by announcing the main cast members and premiere date for its television anime adaptation, set to air in 2024. The two lead roles have been assigned to talented voice actors:


- Fairouz Ai will be lending her voice to the character Sumireko Ogawa.

- Daiki Yamashita will be lending her voice to the character Ren Adashino.


The anime will depict a contemporary and enigmatic tale, blending elements of romance and mystery. It revolves around Sumireko Ogawa, an aspiring novelist with a deep passion for mysteries. Sumireko works at a bookstore alongside a boy named Ren Adashino. Together, they find themselves encountering peculiar events and embarking on a journey to unravel various mysteries.


The manga was initially serialized on Shogakukan's Yawaraka Spirits web manga site in October 2019, captivating readers with its unique storytelling. Currently, the manga has reached its fifth compiled book volume, which was published on January 12. Fans can also look forward to the upcoming sixth volume, set to be released on July 12.
