The official website for the television anime adaptation of Yū Hashimoto's manga "2.5 Dimensional Seduction" (2.5 Jigen no Lilysa) has announced an exciting development for fans. The anime is set to run for two consecutive cours, making it a half-year-long series.
New Cast Members Revealed
The website also unveiled additional cast members joining the production:
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Nonoa
- Sayumi Watabe as Aria

Fans won't have to wait much longer, as the anime is scheduled to premiere in July.

Production Team
The anime is being directed by Hideki Okamoto (known for "Bakugan: Evolutions" and "Mysteria Friends") at J.C. Staff. Takao Yoshioka, known for his work on "Horimiya," is in charge of the series scripts. Character design is by Tomoyuki Shitaya ("Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma"), and the music is composed by Hiroaki Tsutsumi ("Dr. Stone").

About the Manga
The manga, licensed by Seven Seas as part of its Ghost Ship imprint, follows the story of Okumura, the president of the school's manga club, who claims to have no interest in real girls. However, his perspective changes when Lilysa, a real 3D girl passionate about cosplay, joins the club. She convinces Okumura to become her photographer, despite his obsession with the 2D character Lilliel. The story explores the blurred boundaries between 2D and 3D in this romantic comedy.
Yū Hashimoto launched the manga on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ website in 2019. With over 1.7 million copies in circulation, it's clear that "2.5 Dimensional Seduction" has captured the hearts of many manga fans.
