A Brief Overview

The game, which has been in development for some time now, is based on a wildly popular manga series. Created by Togashi, the manga made its debut in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine back in 1998. Since then, it has garnered a massive following and has inspired various adaptations, including two television anime series, two anime films, several original video anime titles, and even several stage plays.

The Manga's Success

Togashi's manga series has enjoyed immense success over the years, captivating readers with its compelling storyline and vibrant characters. Its popularity has only grown with time, leading to a dedicated fanbase eagerly anticipating each new development.

In November 2022, Shueisha published the manga's 37th compiled book volume, marking a significant milestone for the series. The release of this volume, the first in four years, was met with much fanfare and excitement.

English Release

For fans outside of Japan, the English release of the manga has been equally anticipated. Thanks to Viz Media, English-speaking audiences have been able to enjoy the series as well. The 37th volume was shipped in English on October 3, much to the delight of fans who had been eagerly awaiting its arrival.

Update on the Series

In March 2023, Togashi provided fans with an update on the series, revealing that chapter 401 had been completed. However, he did not confirm when the series would return to serialization.

The manga went on hiatus in January 2023, with Togashi citing health issues as the reason for the break. Shueisha released a statement at the time, indicating that they had consulted with Togashi and decided that the manga would no longer follow a weekly serialized format. However, they assured fans that once concrete details about the manga's return and serialization format were available, they would be shared with readers.

Excitement Builds for the Game Release

With news of the game's impending release for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, excitement among fans is at an all-time high. The opportunity to play a demo of the game at the EVO Japan 2024 event adds to the anticipation surrounding its launch.

Fans eagerly await the chance to experience the world of the manga in a whole new way, immersing themselves in the game's universe and embarking on exciting adventures.
